Have an office eco-peeve? What about an office eco-dream?

Have an office eco-peeve? What about an office eco-dream?

Julie and Wes will be looking at ways to lessen the office footprint over the next couple months. Share your office sustainability ideas and maybe we can incorporate them into our office practices when we move to the new place.

No eco-peeves?
How about:

every computer set to turn off the monitor after 5 min. idling, powersave after 30 min. idling, and shutdown 1 hour after idling

every computer set to print double-sided as default

give those single-sided print jobs headed for the recycle bin a new life

compost bin

"throw open your window shades and turn off the lights fridays"

Stefani sent to my email: All the black foam core we go through…..

Bob asked: what about the zip car deal? (sorry Bob, haven't been on it, it's in the To-Do list)

Figure out recycling - even if it means we bring some of it home to recycle!

Collect coffee grinds for our gardens

Turn off lights in rooms that aren't in use (back room, conference rooms)

How about some office canvas bags for picking up beer and snacks?
